In Thailand, the book ‘1984’ by George Orwell has been in the spotlight after Thai activists campaigned by reading the book in public spaces as a symbolic act to call for democracy.
ในประเทศไทย หนังสือ 1984 โดยจอร์จ ออร์เวลล์ ได้กลายเป็นจุดสนใจหลังจากที่มีนักเคลื่อนไหวกลุ่มหนึ่งออกมาอา่นหนังสือเล่มดังกล่าวในที่สาธารณะเพื่อเป็นสัญลักษณ์เรียกร้องประชาธิปไตย
Jaa is interested in people who grow up in the context of “Big Brother is watching you”. She would like to research, interview and make a production by using Orwell’s 1984 as a platform for sharing differences and similarities of people in this context. จารุนันท์สนใจที่จะค้นคว้าเกี่ยวกับผู้คนที่เติบโตมาในบริบทที่มี "พี่เบิ้มกำลังจับตาดุคุณอยู่" โดยผ่านการวิจัย สัมภาษณ์ และสร้างโปรดักชั่นขึ้นมา โดยใช้หนังสือ1984 เป็นพื้นที่ตั้งต้นสำหรับการแบ่งปันความเหมือนและความแตกต่างของคนแต่ละคนที่อยู่ในบริบทดังกล่าว
For this lab in BIPAM, we will explore the ideas of border and time through the body.
สำหรับแล็บใน BIPAM ครั้งนี้ เราจะมาค้นหาเรื่องขอบเขตและเวลาผ่านร่างกายของเรา

Requirements: clothing suitable for moving around in, an open mind, and willingness to share about yourselves.

Jarunun (Jaa) Phantachat is Co-Artistic Director and Founder of B-Floor Theatre, a socially-conscious and movement-based theatre group in Bangkok. Jarunun is an awarded Thai contemporary theatre director, producer and performer. Currently, she is running Take Off, a small loan fund for Thai contemporary performing arts production, and a co-founder of Collective Thai Scripts.
จารุนันท์ พันธชาติ เป็นผู้ดูแลการผลิต, ผู้กำกับ, ผู้เขียนบท, นักแสดงละครเวที และสมาชิกกลุ่มบีฟลอร์ ปัจจุบันเป็น Co-artistic Director ของกลุ่มบีฟลอร์, ผู้ก่อตั้งกองทุนกู้ยืมเพื่อสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะการแสดง Take OFF และกำลังร่วมรวบรวมบทละครร่วมสมัยไทยเพื่อแปลและจัดพิมพ์ในชื่อกลุ่ม Collective Thai Scripts
