BIPAM 2019 has now officially concluded. We would like to thank all the participants for their contributions and endless support during the festival. The enjoyable atmosphere was made possible by your participation and exchange in the various talks and seminars, resulting in newfound inspiration for future works. The carefully designed artist-led workshop sessions enabled participants to open their eyes and bodies, to violent instincts with Billinger&Schulz who flew from Germany to meet and share their views with fellow art lovers, to creating characters from human instincts with Nana Dakin, and to the shared histories within the region with UNESCO, all of which helped in creating a collage of new discoveries in the contemporary age of Southeast Asia.
ไบแพมปี 2019 จบลงแล้วอย่างเป็นทางการ ทีมงานไบแพมทุกคนขอขอบคุณทุกท่านที่ติดตามข่าวสารและให้การสนับสนุนไบแพมมาโดยตลอด ทำให้บรรยากาศภายในงานเต็มไปด้วยความคึกคัก สนุกสนาน ลบภาพงานประชุมที่เคร่งเครียด ทั้งทีมงาน ศิลปินและผู้เข้าร่วมได้เสวนากันอย่างออกรสใน TALK ต่างๆ นับสิบหัวข้อผุดไอเดียใหม่บันดาลใจให้เกิดการต่อยอดผลงานศิลปการแสดงต่อไปในอนาคต ในส่วนของ WORKSHOP ก็คึกคักไม่แพ้กัน เพราะศิลปินได้คัดสรรกิจกรรมและหัวข้อมาอย่างตั้งใจ นอกจากผู้เข้าร่วมจะได้เปิดมุมมองใหม่ ๆ ทำความรู้จักกับร่างกายตัวเองได้ทำการสำรวจสัญชาตญาณความรุนแรงในตัวเองกับกิจกรรมของ Billinger&Schulzศิลปินที่บินตรงมาจากเยอรมนีเพื่อพบปะพูดคุยกับกับคนคอเดียวกัน คนที่รักศิลปะการแสดงเหมือนกัน ทั้งยังได้ลองสร้างตัวละครจากสัญชาตญาณของมนุษย์ โยงใยไปสู่การทำความรู้จักกับวัฒนธรรมร่วมของคนในภูมิภาคจากกิจกรรมของ UNESCO เป็นภาพความทรงจำที่เต็มไปด้วยความน่าค้นหา และการค้นเจอสิ่งแปลกใหม่ในห้วงเวลาร่วมสมัยของเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้
Eyes (and hearts) Open
This year’s showcase events enjoyed great success thanks to the message and agenda of each curated performance reflecting the main theme, thus encouraging dialogue between creators and audiences, some of which continued for several days. Late Night Networking also became one of each day’s highlight events, bringing together participants and artists from all of the BIPAM venues to join in conversations that were not only limited to the inspiration and creative processes behind the work, but also issues such as the ramifications and future implications of local/regional social contexts.The relaxed vibe over drinks at Hostbkk’s rooftop bar transformed these exchanges into bonds of friendship that will last long after the night ended.
เปิดดวงใจได้กว้างอย่างดวงตากับ Eyes Open
จากธีม Eyes Open ปฏิเสธไม่ได้เลยว่า SHOWCASE ในปีนี้ได้รับความสนใจราวกับเป็นพระเอกของทั้งงาน เพราะนอกจากการแสดงแต่ละชิ้นจะถูกคัดสรรมาอย่างดีแล้ว ประเด็นต่าง ๆ ที่สื่อสารผ่านการแสดงยังชวนให้ผู้เข้าร่วม ผู้เข้าชมได้ขบคิดกันต่ออย่างกระตือรือร้น ก่อให้เกิดภาพการพูดคุยอย่างมีอรรถรสแม้เวลาจะล่วงคล้อยไปวันใหม่ อย่างกิจกรรม Late Night Networking ที่เป็นยิ่งกว่าพระเอกของงาน เพราะในทุก ๆ คืน ผู้เข้าร่วมและศิลปินจากทุก Venue ต่างเดินทางมาพบปะปราศรัยกันจนถึงดึกดื่น ด้วยประเด็นจากการแสดงเรื่องต่าง ๆ ที่ไม่ใช่แค่การตั้งคำถามว่าศิลปินมีไอเดียการสร้างงานจากอะไร? และใช้วิธีการสร้างงานแบบไหน? แต่การพูดคุยที่พร้อมด้วยอาหารและเครื่องดื่มท่ามกลางบรรยากาศสุดชิลบนดาดฟ้าชั้น 4 ของHOSTbkk ได้พาบทสนทนาไปไกลถึงการพัฒนาและสร้างสรรค์สิ่งใหม่ ๆ รวมถึงวิเคราะห์ความเคลื่อนไหวของบริบทต่าง ๆ ในสังคม นำไปสู่ภาพการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลส่วนตัวกันเป็นพัลวันเพื่อสานมิตรภาพกันต่อในยามที่ถึงเวลาต้องแยกย้ายในเวลาดึกดื่นเกินครึ่งคืน
We’ll be back
Over the 5 days of the festival BIPAM created many lasting memories and friendships. It’s been a month since we wrapped things up for this year, but already from the feedback, comments and suggestions we have received from participants we know that you miss BIPAM as much as we do. Although opinions may differ, your feelings have reached us at BIPAM and we are grateful for all your thoughts. We are happy to announce that the dates of the next BIPAM festival are3-7 March 2021. We sincerely hope that in 2021 BIPAM will still be the meeting ground for thinkers, creators and practitioners, and that the festival will create as many fond memories as it did this year.
ปีหน้าฟ้าใหม่ยังกลับมาพบกันได้เสมอ
ตลอด 5 วันของงานไบแพมได้สร้างภาพจำและมิตรภาพที่แสนดี เพียงแค่ได้ยินชื่อของงานก็ชวนให้พวกเราคิดถึงแล้ว แม้ไบแพมจะพึ่งจบลงเพียง 1 เดือน และจากผลตอบรับ ความคิดเห็น รวมถึงข้อเสนอแนะต่าง ๆ จากผู้เข้าร่วมก็ทำให้เรามั่นใจว่าแต่ละคนต่างคิดถึงไบแพมไม่แพ้กัน แม้จะต่างมุมมองในความคิด แต่ความรู้สึกก็ถึงทีมงานไบแพมในที่สุด ทำให้ทีมงานไม่รอช้าที่จะรีบกำหนดวันจัดงานในครั้งต่อไปในวันที่ 3 – 7 มีนาคม 2021 และหวังว่าไบแพมในคราวหน้า จะเป็นจุดนัดพบของนักคิดนักสร้างสรรค์และนักพัฒนา เกิดเป็นลิ้นชักความทรงจำที่แสนดีอีกชั้นหนึ่งไม่แพ้ในปีนี้
