今年で12回目を迎えるフェスティバル/トーキョー（F/T）について紹介します。F/Tはパフォーミングアーツを起点に、美術、音楽、映像、アートプロジェクトなど、ジャンルの混交した先鋭的なプログラムを紹介する都市型のフェスティバルです。現在は、より大きなフレーム「東京芸術祭 Tokyo Festival」の一部として、毎年秋に開催しています。東京では2020年にオリンピック・パラリンピックを控え、様々な文化イベントが準備されています。そのなかでF/Tは、2021年以降につながる様々なトライをおこなっており、SEAとの一層の連携を願っています。
The talk session will introduce Festival/Tokyo (F/T) as it approaches its twelfth festival this year. F/T is an urban festival that introduces cutting edge, cross-genre programs involving visual arts, music, and other projects with a base in the performing arts. F/T is now part of the wider umbrella of the “Tokyo Festival” which is held every autumn. In 2020, Tokyo will host the Olympics and Paralympics, and many cultural events are being prepared with this in mind. As a response to this situation, F/T is experimenting with ideas in connection to the direction from 2021 onwards and hoping to strengthen the link with Southeast Asia.
การพูดคุยช่วงนี้จะเป็นการแนะนำให้ผู้เข้าร่วมรู้จัก Festival/Tokyo หรือ F/T ซึ่งเป็นเทศกาลที่ดำเนินมาเป็นครั้งที่ 12 แล้ว F/T เป็นเทศกาลของชุมชนเมืองที่นำเสนองานศิลปะที่เฉียบล้ำ และผสมผสานข้ามสายตั้งแต่ทัศนศิลป์ ดนตรี หรือประเภทงานศิลปะอื่น โดยที่มีพื้นฐานเป็นศิลปะการแสดง ปัจจุบัน F/T จัดขึ้นในช่วงฤดูใบไม่ร่วงของทุกปีภายใต้ร่มของเทศกาล “Tokyo Festival” ในปี 2020 กรุงโตเกียวจะเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการแข่งขันโอลิมปิกและพาราลิมปิก ส่งผลให้เกิดการเตรียมงานเชิงวัฒนธรรมเป็นจำนวนมาก ท่ามกลางสถานการณ์เช่นนี้ F/T เองได้ทดลองแนวคิดต่างๆ ที่จะเชื่อมโยงไปสู่เส้นทางตั้งแต่ปี 2021 เป็นต้นไป รวมทั้งหวังที่จะเชื่อมโยงกับภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ไปอีกขั้น
Kaku Nagashima (Director of Festival/Tokyo)
Born in Tokyo in 1969. He graduated with a degree in French literature from Rikkyo University. During graduate studies, he began to research and translate the later prose of Samuel Beckett. His involvement with theatre came first as a performance surtitles operator and script translator. He then became a pioneer of dramaturgy in Japan and has since worked with a wide range of directors and choreographers in that capacity. Interested in seeking ways to take theatre ideas and know how outside regular theatre spaces, he has also been involved recently with various art projects. He is currently a special invited professor at the Department of Musical Creativity and the Environment, Tokyo University of the Arts.
