Sədʌb is a hearing-based performance

Once the show starts, the exit door remains open, so you’re free to go for a bathroom break, or just go.
This edition of Sədʌb has been developed from the successful first run two years ago at Democrazy Studio. However, this iteration of Sədʌb will be completely different from the last. This time, the audience can take part in the performance. In the first Sədʌb, the actors devised a method to isolate sound from words written by the audience, to recreate and reverberate the sound around the room. This time the process will be more minimal. The audience need only rise or sit down at their chosen spots, and listen to the sounds that are created, the sounds that ‘are’, to “Listen or stop”, or leave the premises. That’s it.

สดับ เป็นงานแสดงที่ใช้การฟังเป็นหลัก

เมื่อเริ่มการแสดง ประตูทางออกจะถูกเปิดไว้เสมอ เพื่อไปพักเข้าห้องน้ำ หรือ ออกไปจากที่นี่
การแสดงสดับ ครั้งนี้ พัฒนามาจากงานสดับครั้งแรก ที่จัดแสดงเมื่อ 2 ปีที่แล้ว ที่เดโมเครซี่สตูดิโอ ซึ่งได้เสียงตอบรับที่ดีพอสมควร แต่รูปแบบการแสดงสดับ ในครั้งนี้จะไม่เหมือนกับครั้งแรกโดยสิ้นเชิง โดยผู้ชมจะมีส่วนร่วมในการแสดงนี้ด้วย ในสดับครั้งแรก นักแสดงสร้างวิธีการในการแยกเสียงจากถ้อยคำทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ ที่คนดูได้เขียนขึ้น มาสร้างเสียงใหม่ และเปล่งเสียงที่ได้ปกคลุมไปทั่วห้อง แต่ครั้งนี้ ง่ายและไม่ซับซ้อนเท่า คนดูแค่ลุกขึ้นหรือนั่งลงบนที่นั่งที่ตนเลือกไว้เท่านั้น และใช้เวลาฟังเสียงที่เกิดขึ้น เสียงที่เป็นอยู่ เพื่อ" สดับ จะฟังก็ฟังไป ไม่อยากฟังก็หาทางหยุด! " หรือไม่ ก็ออกไปจากพื้นที่การแสดง... ง่ายมาก
