Trà Nguyễn is a self-taught theatre writer, director, and performer. Until 2019, Trà has been Acting Director of Sàn Art (Vietnam), contributing to various educational programs in visual art. Since 2018, she has been organizing many workshops with multi-disciplinary artists via her initiative The Run - A Theater Project to propose and discuss new approaches to theatre making in Vietnam. Her original theatre works engage differing aspects of performing, visual, and dramatic arts to explore the possibilities of performances. Her works have been staged in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Hanoi (Vietnam), and Tokyo (Japan).

Trà is currently a Fellow with The Laboratory for Global Performance & Politics, Georgetown University (US), and will pursue an MFA in Dramatic Writing at Carnegie Mellon University (US) from Fall 2020.


Trà Nguyễn ศึกษาด้วยตัวเองในการเป็นนักเขียนบทละคร ผู้กำกับละคร และนักแสดง ตั้งแต่ปี 2019 Trà เป็นผู้กำกับการแสดงให้ Sàn Art (ประเทศเวียดนาม) ร่วมทำงานโปรแกรมด้านการศึกษาหลากหลายในสายทัศนศิลป์ ตั้งแต่ปี 2018 เธอจัดเวิร์คชอพมากมายที่รวมศิลปินหลากหลายแขนงศิลปะผ่านผลงานที่เธอริเริ่มขึ้น The Run - โปรเจคละครเวทีที่เสนอและหารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางใหม่ในการสร้างสรรค์ละครเวทีในเวียดนาม ผลงานละครต้นฉบับของเธอเกี่ยวข้องหลากหลายสิ่งที่แตกต่าง ทั้งมุมมองที่แตกต่าง ภาพ การแสดงละครเพื่อเฟ้นหาความเป็นไปได้ในการแสดง งานของเธอได้จัดแสดงทั้งในโฮจิมินห์ซิตี้ (เวียดนาม), ฮานอย (เวียดนาม), โตเกียว (ญี่ปุ่น)

ปัจจุบัน Trà เป็นหนึ่งในผู้ร่วมทำงานใน The Laboratory for Global Performance & Politics Georgetown Univeristy (สหรัฐอเมริกา) และจะศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาโทสาขาการเขียนบทละครที่ Carnegie Mellon University (สหรัฐอเมริกา) ตั้งแต่ฤดูใบไม้ร่วงปี 2020
