“Mara Vivas, dancer at the National Ballet Caracas, sets out from Venezuela, from poverty and everyday dangers that threaten her life, to live and, above all, survive in Europe. On the morning of April 22, 2003, Mara gets off the plane to London, but she only gets as far as passport control. There, a disaster and a miracle occur, both in quick succession.” The audience experiences the story from an unusual perspective: gold extra uses the magic of virtual spaces in an online performance so that the audience can go on a journey with Mara, experiencing what is happening simultaneously inside her as well as at the airport. In Mara's story, spaces also open up where we meet people from different parts of the world, from Iran, Ukraine, Mexico, Thailand and the USA. They give the audience an insight into their experiences on the journey between the borders of national boundaries, societies and ideas. Online performance in English, max. 8 people per performance.
